In its efforts to increase its footprint, ZIYANDA Consulting has secured two new appointments with two new Clients, Ilembe District Municipality & Gert Sibande District Municipality.
ZIYANDA Consulting has recently been appointed to convert on site sanitation to waterborne sanitation for people residing in the Mdlebeni Area, KwaDukuza in the Ilembe District, North kwaZulu Natal, RSA. This project will serve approximately 32 000 people (4 000 households). The project will involve the construction of a 2 ML wastewater treatment plant (in Phase 1), bulk outfall sewers, pump stations, and sewer reticulation. The new WWTP will discharge seepage into the UThukela River.
Construction activities are scheduled to commence in mid-2014, following the procurement of essential licences and permits from various authorities.
The ZIYANDA team involved in the project is directed by Stanley Mgutshini. The Design Team Leader is Bongani Sibanda assisted by Nkosi Malishe, Bongani Mlalazi and Nombuliswa Magwaza.
